"Picking My Teeth". Pen & Ink. 5" x 6". (2021). I drew this one in response to a prompt from one of those online lists for October. I also sold it, which was a little surprising given the subject matter! It's interesting; I tend to draw when I get stuck creatively - I tend to think of my drawings as little more than exercises, but a lot of people enjoyed these quite a bit. Maybe I'm on to something!

"Knot". Pen & Ink" 5" x 6". (2021). Like "Picking my teeth", this one was in response to a prompt. It formed the basis for a couple of iterations, all of which I sold! You never know!

"Small World 1". 9" x 12". Pen and Ink + Acrylic Pens. (2021). I made this one in July; I was kind of stuck creatively and decided to start by making a circle right in the middle of the page. The rest of it, unconsciously inspired by National Geographic Kids and the Wump World memories of my childhood, came easily.

"Small World 2" and "Small World 4". Both are 9" x 12" and were done using pen and ink. (2021). These followed easily (sorry, I sold Small World 3 and didn't take a picture of it) after Small World 1. I had a lot of fun with these, but I began to plan them out, which for me is the kiss of death. Once I start to plan art at beyond more than a basic level, I get bored with it.

"Thunderbird & Whale" and "Pixies are Destroying My Kitchen". (2021). These are both pen and ink again. T & W is about 6" x 8" while "Pixies" is about 8" x 10". These were also made in response to prompts, this time about cryptids. I tried not to look up any pictures of them but rather to just interpret the stories I found about this mythical creates. It was a lot of fun. I also sold both of these!

"Zarathan". Pen and Ink. 9" x 12". (2021). This was done in October, in response to another cryptid prompt. The basic idea is that we are all going through life, thinking we've got a good bead on things - and then the turtle we are riding on goes under water and we find out otherwise!. I had a lot of fun making this one too.

"Giant Bat". Pen and ink. 8" x 8". (2021). This is another one in response to a prompt about a cryptid. I can't remember its name. However, I imagined that he'd found a job as a Grub Hub delivery guy.

"Boat". Pen and ink. 4" x 6". (2021). This was a fun one, but it's also very small; one of the smallest drawings I've done recently. Not much else to say about it; I was watching a lot of YouTube videos about carrier aviation at the time. Maybe that inspired me.
